Darrell’s day job is in technology making Wi-Fi work. During his personal time, his passion is traveling and taking great pictures, stunning urban scenes, landscapes, nature, and animals. This was just a hobby from time to time until 2016 when he discovered the stunning works from photographers and artists using HDR techniques. After falling in love with this photography style he started learning more about how to capture these images and started experimenting with using HDR in his images. Since 2016 Darrell has been traveling, taking pictures and learning along the way. Since then, Darrell and Katie decided that these images should be available online to share with the world. Katie supports Darrell’s pursuits, scouts locations, plans, and coordinates vacations while keeping our home in order. Together we raise two wonderful children and have 2 amazing dogs who travel with us when we can.
The Tennessee State Parks Department has picked up some of Darrell’s work performed at Big Hill Pond State Park and used these as part of their Instagram feed.
Society Memphis has also used several of Darrell’s action images on Instagram as well.
